Every golfer's dream
The truly Tuscan personality of Castiglion del Bosco Golf Club enriches every inch of the undulating estate, set in the centuries-old landscape of Val d’Orcia.
The estate’s breathtaking 18-hole golf course was designed by the legendary winner of the British Open, Tom Weiskopof. This prestigious course offers an unparalleled playing experience in Italy’s only private golf club to be set within a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
With its Tuscan charm and appeal, the course follows the contours of the gently rolling hills and blends in perfectly with the landscape. The rough consists of fescue and graminaceous grasses, setting off the pristine green of the perfectly manicured fairways. The course is challenging, yet welcoming and enjoyable to play, and is lined by stands of mature trees with fully-sustainable water hazards and natural water courses. It is suitable for players of all abilities, right up to the 19th hole, the Brunello Hole, which is the perfect place to challenge your opponent or relax and unwind after a hard-fought game.
A historic farmhouse has been converted into a rustic Club House with adjacent practice facilities, bar, restaurant and Pro shop. Nearby, the Member’s Lounge in the Borgo is the ideal setting for even the most confidential post-game discussions.
