The Spa A serene oasis specializing in unique therapies based on
organic ingredients from the Estate, this 12,000 square-foot sanctuary, conceptualized
by spa visionary Anne Bramham, includes an apothecary garden filled with indigenous healing
and aromatic plants, a relaxation path, yoga studio, fitness center, infinity lap pool,
hydrotherapy pools, hammam and Swiss showers (available 2010).
The Canonica The "priest’s house" is located at the center of Il Borgo
and houses a cooking school where Members and Guests can watch or participate in the preparation
of the region’s spectacular cuisine. La Canonica also features an enoteca wine bar, bottega and
the Orto, an organic kitchen garden.
Dining Two restaurants and a cozy bar showcase seasonal menus using
the finest local ingredients complemented by an extensive list of Castiglion del Bosco and regional
wines. The traditional Osteria offers a casual ambiance to gather for food and wine. The fine
dining restaurant, Ristorante Del Drago, presents an elegant setting for a sumptuous Tuscan
dining experience.
Wine Tasting Set within Castiglion del Bosco’s critically
acclaimed Winery - the 5th largest producer of cherished Brunello di Montalcino - the tasting
room offers a portfolio of Castiglion del Bosco's exemplary vintages. The Winery also
houses the Barriccaia, a wine sanctuary filled with rows of traditional French barrique

Sport Extensive sporting facilities span across the property, from
a state-of the-art fitness center (October 2008) and soccer fields to tennis and bocce
courts. Castiglion del Bosco also features miles of picturesque hiking and biking trails
that hug spectacular ridges and meander past streams, waterfalls and hidden historic sites. The
beautiful Maremma horses, used by traditional Tuscan herdsmen, guide guests through a network of
riding trails extending to the far-reaching corners of the property. An outfitters station for
fishing is currently in development.
The Gardens A magnificent amenity within itself, the extensive gardens
of the Estate encompass a radiant Tuscan palette for all seasons, including a terrace of cutting
flowers, rustic olive trees, manicured fruit orchards and sprawling Sangiovese vineyards. The
splendid Orto, designed by the Vatican’s garden landscaper, is home to more than 180 varieties
of robust vegetables and aromatic herbs grown for the Canonica.
