The VillasThe Villas

Nine of the 20 original 17th and 18th century Villas have been completed in the first phase of the Estate's restoration and will be available for Members' exclusive use in September 2007. Restoration of the remaining 11 Villas will be complete by summer 2009.

  • Alba  

    Nestled among ancient trees on a quite hilltop Alba delights with breathtaking views of the Borgo and Estate below. Once a typical stone farm house, this Villa has been transformed into a romantic escape for up to six guests, with an open kitchen, great room, guest house and dramatic outdoor entertaining area.

  • Casa Biondi  

    Located on the northern side of the property, just off the 8th green and adjacent to the Estate’s picturesque cypress-lined drive, Casa Biondi is one of CdB’s largest Villas. Casa Biondi accommodates up to ten guests in its spacious ensuite bedrooms and open living areas and features original, terra-cotta vaulted ceilings, wood beams, sweeping countryside vistas and spectacular sunsets.

  • Casa del Fiume  

    Casa del Fiume is a tranquil sanctuary located in a stunning green valley with gorgeous views of Montalcino and CdB’s own Borgo. It is comprised four large suites comfortably sleeps eight guests and features an original 17th-century wood-burning oven, pool house with fireplace and private tennis court. This villa is a perfect Tuscan retreat.

  • Castello  

    Built into the walls of the Estate’s historic Etruscan stronghold, with sweeping views of the northern half of Estate, vineyards and a golf course, Castello provides peaceful surroundings and convenient access to the Borgo. With two gorgeously restored fireplaces, an enchanting third-floor master suite and two additional ensuite bedrooms, Castello comfortably accommodate six guests. It also features an outdoor wood-burning oven where pizza rustica and other traditional Tuscan fare can be prepared by guests or one of CdB’s chefs.

  • Chiusa  

    Standing tall and stately, the more formal Villa Chuisa sits just off the Borgo’s center, offering privacy and convenience. At one time, the Estate owner's Villa, Chuisa features elegant details and spectacular views of the countryside below as well as neighboring Montalcino. Its three suites and separate guest house easily accommodate eight guests.

  • Gauggiole  

    Surrounded by vineyards, this Villa once housed 11 members of a farming family in its main residence. Today, Gauggiole has been elegantly transformed, retaining the traditional beamed ceilings while adding every modern luxury; it comfortably accommodates eight to ten guests in the main residence and adjacent guest house. The infinity pool, pool house and surrounding garden and terraces offer additional living space and breathtaking vineyard views.

  • Oliviera  

    This Villa, located in the Southern corner of the Borgo, once housed the Estate’s olive-oil press. Today, Tuscan tradition lingers in its three large suites each featuring original details and fireplaces. The views from its terraces and infinity pool of the nearby countryside and neighboring Montalcino are spectacular.

  • Stabbi  

    Situated on a hilltop surrounded by the 4th, 5th and 6th holes of the golf course, Stabbi provides 360-degree views of the Sienese countryside. Stabbi’s interior features original beamed ceilings, a commanding central fireplace and large glass doors that open to sunset views and a garden of ancient oak trees. Eight guests can be comfortably accommodated in the main residence’s three en-suite bedrooms and the adjacent guest house. There is also a service bedroom for the convenience of in-residence staff.

  • Sant’Anna  

    Perched on a ridge near the 12th and 13th holes of the golf course, with spectacular vistas from sunrise to sunset, this villa features beautifully restored stonework, terra-cotta ceilings of wood beam and four large suites to accommodate up to eight guests. A spacious media room and a maid’s room for the convenience of in-villa staff offer additional comfort.
